Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. brandy (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Add all or enough flour to egg yolks and sour cream to make a soft dough.
  2. Add sugar, salt, brandy, and vinegar.
  3. Knead until smooth.
  4. Roll out very thin.
  5. Cut into diamond shapes.
  6. Make a slit in the center and pull one end through the slit.
  7. Deep fry until light brown.
  8. Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
