A hearty, creamy beef stew cooked in a crock-pot, perfect for busy days. Rich flavors of mushroom and onion, topped with sour cream, ideal over noodles or rice.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. stew beef
  • 2 packages dry onion soup mix
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Place beef, dry onion soup mix, and cream of mushroom soup in the crock-pot.
  2. Cook all day on low for about 8 hours.
  3. Just before serving, add sour cream and stir well.
  4. Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
