Ingredients

  • 1 cup apples
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup oleo
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 (7 oz.) cans tuna
  • 2 tablespoons ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Finely chop and peel the apples.
  2. Cook the apples and chopped onion in oleo until tender.
  3. Blend in flour, curry powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add milk, cooking and stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Drain the tuna and break into large pieces.
  6. Add tuna, ground ginger, and lemon juice to the sauce.
  7. Mix carefully, heat through, and serve over rice or noodles.
