Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 oz) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can vacuum-packed corn

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion together in a skillet.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the stewed tomatoes and vacuum-packed corn to the beef and onion mixture.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in 1/4 pound of Cheddar cheese cubes or Velveeta.
  6. Immediately turn off the heat and cover the skillet.
  7. Let the cheese melt in about a minute before serving.
