Ingredients

  • 1 gal. red wine
  • 1 c. vodka
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. port wine
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 whole cardamom
  • raisins
  • almonds
  • grated lemon peel to taste

Instructions

  1. Pour red wine, vodka, and port wine into a crock-pot.
  2. Add sugar, cinnamon sticks, whole cardamom, raisins, almonds, and grated lemon peel.
  3. Heat the mixture almost to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve warm.
