A creamy, flavorful taco salad dip with layers of cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos, and green onions, perfect for parties or casual gatherings with tortilla chips or as a fresh salad.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 6 oz. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes or tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • fresh tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and Ranch dressing mix and pour into a 2-quart long Pyrex dish (13 x 8 x 1 1/2-inch).
  2. Refrigerate overnight or for several hours.
  3. Spread Ro-Tel tomatoes, green onions, and jalapeno peppers in layers over the first layer.
  4. Just before serving, spread chopped fresh tomatoes and grated Cheddar cheese over the other layers.
  5. Serve as a dip with tortilla chips or Tostitos chips, or serve over shredded lettuce as a salad with tortilla or Tostitos chips.
