Ingredients

  • 8 oz. package dates
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup pecans
  • coconut or powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut dates into small pieces.
  2. Mix together dates, sugar, and beaten egg in a saucepan.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
  4. Add vanilla, Rice Krispies, and pecans.
  5. Dampen hands and form the mixture into balls.
  6. Roll the balls in coconut or powdered sugar.
