Date Nut Crispies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 lb. finely chopped dates
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Cook the margarine, sugar and dates over low heat for 10 minutes, beating frequently.
  2. Cool slightly. Add Rice Krispies and chopped pecans. Form small balls. Roll in coconut or powdered sugar. Chill. Store in airtight container.
