Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 lb. pitted dates
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 c. Rice Krispies
  • coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, dates, vanilla and sugar in saucepan and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add egg and cook 5 minutes longer, until dates are all mixed.
  3. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies.
  4. Let cool and roll into balls.
  5. Roll in coconut.
