  • skim milk

  2. Add enough skim milk to the mixture to make a smooth batter.
  3. Dip fish in batter, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Heat oil until hot, then fry the fish for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until light brown.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. This batter is also suitable for onion rings.
