Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together, except egg whites and 1 cup sugar.
- Put in 2 layer pans.
- Beat egg whites until stiff; add 1 cup granulated sugar.
- Spread over batter in layer pans (2) and bake about 1 hour slowly at 275°.
- Be sure to first grease and flour cake pans.
- Serve with whipped cream.
