Ingredients

  • 12 to 16 oz. macaroni noodles
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil macaroni noodles al dente (slightly undercooked).
  2. Melt Velveeta cheese with milk in a heavy, nonstick pan.
  3. Add one cup of shredded Cheddar cheese, mixing until all melted.
  4. Drain noodles well.
  5. Mix noodles and cheese thoroughly.
  6. Pour into one or more casseroles or freezing containers.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining Cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
