Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered garlic

Instructions

  1. Mix the vegetable oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, and powdered garlic together in a Tupperware marinating dish.
  2. Apply instant tenderizer meat tenderizer on all areas of the roast and use a fork to pierce the roast, allowing the tenderizer to penetrate.
  3. Place the roast in the marinade and seal the dish with its lid.
  4. Marinate for 24 hours, turning the dish a few times during this period to ensure even marination.
  5. Broil or barbecue the roast for 20 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness.
