A creamy, fruity layered dessert featuring vanilla pudding, pineapple, whipped topping, and angel food cake, perfect for gatherings and satisfying a sweet tooth with light, tropical flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake
  • 2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 5 cups whipped topping
  • Maraschino cherries
  • 16 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
  • 4 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Break the angel food cake into small pieces and line the bottom and sides of a tube pan.
  2. Mix the vanilla pudding and milk according to the package instructions.
  3. Stir the drained crushed pineapple into the pudding mixture.
  4. Pour the pudding and pineapple mixture into the cake-lined pan and spread evenly, pressing into the cake.
  5. Refrigerate for 2 hours to set.
  6. Turn the cake onto a serving plate and ice the top and sides with whipped topping.
  7. Sprinkle with coconut and garnish with maraschino cherries.
  8. Keep refrigerated until serving.
