Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cans beef consomme
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 whole onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion and mushrooms in oleo until soft.
  2. Add rice and cook for a few minutes to lightly toast.
  3. Pour in beef consomme and bring to a simmer.
  4. Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes until rice is tender and flavors meld.
