Ingredients

  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped pepper
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the ground beef with chopped onion, oregano, salt, and chopped pepper.
  2. Combine half of the tomato sauce with the meat mixture.
  3. Pat the meat mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie plate.
  4. Sprinkle bread crumbs evenly over the meat in the pie.
  5. Bake until the meat is cooked through and the crust is golden, approximately 30-40 minutes.
