Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour (presifted all-purpose)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 c. cold water
  • 10 level Tbsp. cocoa

Instructions

  1. Stir all dry ingredients together.
  2. Add all liquids. Mix with a large spoon.
  3. Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch or two layer cake pans.
  4. Bake 30 minutes in a 350° oven.
  5. Cool.
  6. Frost with chocolate/peanut butter frosting and enjoy!
