Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 4 to 6 potatoes
  • 4 to 6 carrots
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 2 cans water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the tomato soup and water in a bowl.
  2. Cut potatoes, carrots, and onion into chunks.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  4. Drain off the grease from the cooked meat.
  5. Place the browned meat in a Dutch oven and layer the vegetables on top.
  6. Pour the tomato soup mixture over the layered ingredients.
  7. Bake in the oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the vegetables are tender.
