Diet Applesauce Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 slice whole wheat bread
  • 1/3 c. dry milk powder
  • 3 tsp. brown sugar substitute
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. orange rind
  • 1/2 tsp. butter extract
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 4 oz. unsweetened applesauce

Instructions

  1. Crumble bread and add dry ingredients.
  2. In another bowl, combine egg, butter extract and applesauce.
  3. Combine the two and mix until smooth.
  4. Bake in a 2 x 4-inch loaf pan at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
