Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Melt the oleo (margarine or butter).
  2. Add sugar to the melted oleo and beat until well combined.
  3. Stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Mix in vanilla extract.
  6. Stir in flour until just combined.
  7. Pour batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
