A creamy, cheesy corn casserole with crunchy cracker topping, perfect as a comforting side dish for family dinners or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 can shoe peg corn
  • 1 can French green beans, drained
  • 1 can water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1 can celery (cream) soup
  • 1/2 to 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except the crushed crackers together.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 7 x 7-inch baking pan.
  3. Top with crushed Ritz crackers during the last five minutes of baking.
  4. Pour melted butter over the crackers.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 45 minutes until hot and bubbly.
