Dot Webb'S Apple Nut Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. chopped, peeled apples
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. almond extract

Instructions

  1. Beat egg well; gradually add sugar and continue beating until dissolved.
  2. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and add to egg mixture.
  3. Fold in apples, walnuts and almond extract.
  4. Bake in 8-inch square pan for 40 minutes at 350°.
  5. Serve with whipping cream.
