Dot'S Lasagna is a hearty, cheesy Italian dish layered with rich meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, and provolone cheeses, perfect for family gatherings or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 3 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 lb. Provolone cheese, sliced thin or shredded
  • grated Romano cheese
  • 2 to 3 qt. spaghetti sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles and rinse with cold water.
  2. Cook the hamburger, drain, and add to spaghetti sauce.
  3. Lightly cover the bottom of pans with meat sauce.
  4. Place 2 layers of noodles on top of the sauce.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta cheese on the noodles and add half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Put half of the meat sauce on top of that layer.
  7. Add another 2 layers of noodles, then spread the remaining ricotta and mozzarella cheeses.
  8. Place sliced or shredded provolone cheese on top, then add the remaining meat sauce.
  9. Sprinkle grated Romano cheese on top and bake at 425°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
