Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can pie filling (any flavor)
  • 1 package yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 small can flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix the crushed pineapple and pie filling together.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 10 x 15-inch pan.
  3. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the fruit mixture and press down gently.
  4. Sprinkle the flaked coconut on top of the cake mix and press down.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the coconut and press down.
  6. Divide the margarine into bits and sprinkle over the top of the cake.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
