Drop Sugar Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts

Instructions

  1. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, and baking soda; set aside.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar in bowl till light and fluffy.
  3. Add in egg; beat well.
  4. Blend in vanilla.
  5. Add in dry ingredients alternately with lowfat milk, beating well after each addition.
  6. Stir in walnuts.
  7. Drop mix by teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart.
  8. On greased baking sheets, flatten each with back of floured spoon.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
  10. Remove from baking sheet.
  11. Cold on racks.
  12. Makes 2 dozen.
