- Sift together flour, baking pwdr, and baking soda; set aside.
- Cream together butter and sugar in bowl till light and fluffy.
- Add in egg; beat well.
- Blend in vanilla.
- Add in dry ingredients alternately with lowfat milk, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in walnuts.
- Drop mix by teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart.
- On greased baking sheets, flatten each with back of floured spoon.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
- Remove from baking sheet.
- Cold on racks.
- Makes 2 dozen.
