A quick and easy dump cake featuring pineapple and cherry filling, topped with cake mix, butter, and nuts for a sweet, moist dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Pour the cherry pie filling into the prepared pan.
  3. Layer the crushed pineapple over the cherry filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pineapple and cherry layers.
  5. Do not stir; leave the ingredients layered as they are.
  6. Cut the remaining butter into small pieces and distribute over the top of the cake mix.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the butter and cake mix.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
