Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 1 c. Reese cooking sherry
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. chopped green onions
  • 24 chicken drummettes with skin removed

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, combine water, soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar, and chopped green onions.
  2. Add the chicken drummettes and stir to coat.
  3. Heat the mixture to boiling, then lower the heat.
  4. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
  5. Uncover and simmer for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Serve warm.
