Ingredients

  • 5 medium apples, pared and sliced
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine sliced apples, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup biscuit mix and 1/2 cup butter until crumbly.
  3. Stir the crumbly mixture into the sliced apples.
  4. In another bowl, combine the remaining biscuit mix, 2 tablespoons butter, and brown sugar.
  5. Spread this mixture over the apple filling in the baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until the top is golden brown and apples are tender, about 1 hour.
