Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cube margarine
  • 1 1/8 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 3 to 4 c. peeled, chopped apples
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
  3. Add milk and stir until blended.
  4. Knead gently about 12 times.
  5. Roll dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Brush the dough with melted margarine.
