Easy Butterscotch Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 4 c. brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. chopped nuts or coconut

Instructions

  1. Over low heat, cook together butter and brown sugar.
  2. Cool. Add eggs, vanilla, flour, baking powder, nuts or coconut.
  3. Spread into 2 (10 x 15-inch) pans, lightly greased.
  4. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
  5. Cut while warm.
