Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • a dash of salt
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients (powdered sugar, cornstarch, salt) in a bowl.
  2. Add the milk, margarine, and vanilla to the dry mixture.
  3. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and combined.
  4. Cook the mixture in a Teflon skillet, stirring often.
  5. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and becomes clear.
  6. Use immediately to glaze angel food cake or other desserts.
