Easy Calzones

Cheesy calzones with a crispy crust, served with warm spaghetti sauce, perfect for a quick family meal or casual gathering with bold flavors and satisfying bites.

Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough
  • 6 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese
  • 5 cups spaghetti sauce
  • Pam spray

Instructions

  1. Thaw the loaves of bread dough.
  2. Divide each loaf into 5 parts and roll each into a 7-inch square.
  3. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square, fold over to form a turnover, and pinch the edges to seal.
  4. Spray a baking sheet with Pam and place the calzones 2 inches apart on it.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Bake the calzones for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Ladle hot spaghetti sauce over the calzones and serve.
