Easy Choco-Nut Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake (store bought works well)
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix (large)
  • 1 carton nondairy whipped topping, softened
  • 3/4 c. mini chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Tear cake into small pieces and layer in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
  2. Prepare pudding according to package directions.
  3. Cool slightly and pour over cake; cool for half an hour in refrigerator.
  4. In small bowl, fold into whipped topping the chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
  5. Spread mixture over top of pudding.
  6. Cover and refrigerate.
