Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease and flour loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating vigorously after each addition.
- Blend in vanilla, then flour gradually.
- Mix well after each addition.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake one hour or until test of cake shows it is done.
