Ingredients

  • 3 lb. medium lean ground beef or chili meat
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 pkg. chili bowl
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Saute garlic in 2 tablespoons Crisco until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in chili bowl mixture; mix well.
  4. Cover and simmer on low heat until tender, about 30 minutes.
  5. Stir in 2 tablespoons flour to thicken.
  6. Mix well to incorporate the flour.
  7. Add water and hot sauce to taste.
  8. Continue to cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  9. Serve plain or with beans or rice.
