Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; drain well.
  3. Season with salt and pepper; stir in shredded mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, unroll the refrigerated pizza dough and cut into 6 sections.
  5. Divide and spoon the filling into the center of each dough section.
  6. Bring together the four corners of each rectangular section, pinching to seal.
  7. Loosely close the straight edges of the dough to form pockets; sealing completely is not necessary.
  8. Carefully transfer the pockets to an ungreased baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
