- Heat oven to 425°F.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; drain well.
- Season with salt and pepper; stir in shredded mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce.
- On a lightly floured surface, unroll the refrigerated pizza dough and cut into 6 sections.
- Divide and spoon the filling into the center of each dough section.
- Bring together the four corners of each rectangular section, pinching to seal.
- Loosely close the straight edges of the dough to form pockets; sealing completely is not necessary.
- Carefully transfer the pockets to an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
