Easy Foldovers

- Combine pie crust mix, cream cheese, sugar, milk and extract. Stir with a fork until mixture forms a ball.
- Divide in half.
- On a lightly floured board, roll to a 10-inch square.
- With a pastry wheel or knife, cut into 16 (2 1/2-inch) squares.
- Spoon 1/2 teaspoon preserves in center of each square.
- (You can place a pecan half on each one, if desired.)
- Moisten opposite corners with water.
- Bring corners up over filling; pinch tightly to seal. Arrange on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Transfer to wire rack, lightly.
- Makes about 32.
