Delightful, buttery kolackies filled with fruit filling and dusted with powdered sugar, perfect for parties or a sweet treat that appeals to all ages.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 can pie filling (cherry, blueberry, strawberry, etc.)
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat margarine and cream cheese together until well blended.
  2. Stir in flour to form a dough.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  4. Cut out circles with a small glass or cookie cutter.
  5. Place the cutouts on a baking sheet.
  6. Add a small amount of pie filling in the center of each cutout.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
  8. Remove from oven and cool.
  9. Lightly sift powdered sugar over the cooled kolackies.
