Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 1/3 cups self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast, warm water, egg, sour cream, and self-rising flour together until well combined.
  2. Dough will be stiff.
  3. Pour the dough into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan or Pyrex loaf pan.
  4. Let the dough rise until it doubles in size.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
