Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped peaches
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 box Sure-Jell fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. Mix chopped peaches and sugar thoroughly and set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir Sure-Jell with water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Boil for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir the peach and sugar mixture into the hot pectin mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved and no longer grainy, about 3 minutes.
  6. Pour the jam into plastic containers and cover.
  7. Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours.
  8. Store in the refrigerator or freeze extra containers. Thaw in the refrigerator before use.
