Ingredients

  • 24 graham cracker squares
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Arrange graham cracker squares in a single layer in an ungreased jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch).
  3. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter and cook over medium heat until melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers, spreading evenly.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
