Easy To Do Quiche
Ingredients
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell (make your own; I buy mine) ⓘ
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese ⓘ
- 1 c. vegetables, cooked and drained (zucchini, mushrooms, broccoli or spinach, used alone or in combination) ⓘ
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. half and half (I use 2% milk) ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion (can use instant) ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed* ⓘ
- salt to taste ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Sprinkle pie shell with both cheeses. Add vegetables to pie shell.
- Beat eggs, milk, onion and oregano together in large bowl; pour over cheese and vegetables.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
- Let stand a few minutes before serving.
- Serves 6.
