Easy Upside-Down Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
  • apples
  • cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Fill pie pan 2/3 full with peeled and sliced apples.
  2. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over apples. Spread evenly over apples.
  4. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until brown.
