Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 6 Tbsp. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Measure sugar, salt, dry mustard, paprika, and evaporated milk into a bowl. Beat with rotary egg beater to mix well.
  2. Add the oil a teaspoon at a time, and beat after each addition until 1/4 of the oil has been incorporated.
  3. Add the vinegar or lemon juice a little at a time and continue beating until well combined.
  4. Pour the remaining oil slowly, beating continuously until the mayonnaise is smooth and creamy.
