Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl at one time and cut the oleo into little pieces.
  2. Beat the mixture for 8 minutes.
  3. Grease and flour two 9-inch pans.
  4. Divide the batter between the two pans.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes.
