- Lightly bread the pieces of cube steak and fry with Pam only until outside of meat is brown.
- Remove meat from the pan.
- Add Lipton onion soup mix, 2 1/2 cups water, cornstarch, salt, and pepper to the pan with drippings.
- Stir until the mixture is brown and thickened.
- Place the steak in a casserole dish and pour the soup mixture over it.
- Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 300°F.
