Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 to 3 lb. cube steak
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • flour
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Lightly bread the pieces of cube steak and fry with Pam only until outside of meat is brown.
  2. Remove meat from the pan.
  3. Add Lipton onion soup mix, 2 1/2 cups water, cornstarch, salt, and pepper to the pan with drippings.
  4. Stir until the mixture is brown and thickened.
  5. Place the steak in a casserole dish and pour the soup mixture over it.
  6. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 300°F.
