A creamy, cheesy spinach dish perfect as a side or dip, combining tender spinach with savory onion flavor, topped with melted cheddar and optional bread crumbs for added crunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook the spinach until heated through; drain well.
  2. Mix the cooked spinach with the onion soup mix and sour cream until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Optional: add bread crumbs over the cheese and drizzle with 2 to 3 tablespoons melted butter.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and serve hot.
