Ingredients

  • 1 medium lime
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 lb. shelled shrimp

Instructions

  1. Grate 1 teaspoon lime peel; squeeze 1 tablespoon lime juice. In a broiling pan, mix lime peel, lime juice, garlic, salt, olive oil, cilantro, and crushed red pepper.
  2. Add shrimp, tossing to coat well.
  3. Set aside for 15 minutes to absorb flavors.
  4. Broil shrimp for 3 minutes. Turn shrimp and broil for an additional 3 minutes.
