A creamy, tangy cheese ball with sharp flavor, coated in parsley flakes, perfect for spreading on crackers at parties or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. extra sharp cheese (white)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 clove garlic
  • parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese to room temperature.
  2. Grate the cheese and garlic.
  3. Mix the grated cheese and garlic together by hand until smooth in consistency.
  4. Alternatively, this can be done in a food processor.
  5. Divide the mixture in half.
  6. Form two rolls or balls with the mixture, whichever you prefer.
  7. Roll each cheese ball in parsley flakes to coat.
  8. Refrigerate the cheese balls, but remove them long enough before serving to spread on a cracker.
