Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) hot dogs, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans baked beans
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. In an ungreased 3-quart baking dish, combine hot dogs, baked beans, ketchup, and mustard; mix well.
  3. In a medium bowl, lightly beat the egg.
  4. Add milk and oil to the beaten egg and mix well.
  5. Stir in cornmeal and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour batter over the hot dog mixture in the baking dish.
  7. Spread evenly to cover the mixture.
  8. Bake at 400°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until light golden brown.
